vienna: my favorite cafés & bakeries
a little guide to my favorite locations in town
Does going out for coffee with friends count as a hobby? If so, it is my absolute favorite hobby.
There are so many great cafés and bakeries in Vienna that I could keep the list forever. But I picked out my favorites that I keep going back to.
Bakeries
Öfferl; my absolute favorite bakery in vienna- love the bread there. & you can also enjoy coffee and a little sweet treat there. Öfferl now has many locations in Vienna with great seating options.
Motto Brot; another amazing bakery located in the middle of Maria Hilfer Street.
Joseph Brot; Joseph Brot also has several locations in Vienna. Big love for the sourdough bread too. And what I love about most is, that they have a large vegan selection of sweet treats.
Cafés
Jonas Reindl; over the last years Jonas Reindl became one of my favorite cafes. Especially the one at Schottentor. I love sitting outside when the sun is shining, drinking a delicious iced cappuccino with oatmilk, eating vegan cake and talking about life with my best friends. Delicious coffee & good cake- big recommendation :)
No Panic Coffee; another specialty coffee shop in vienna which i love- if you wanna drink a good cup of coffee, you are right at no panic coffee :)
Hornig Kaffeebar; another place that serves good coffee.
Caffe vom See; small cute café located at naschmarkt in vienna.
La Mercerie; a little bit of paris in the middle of vienna. Love the location, cute café serving delicious croissants.
nook; for all the matcha lovers, they serve really good matcha.
MiSA; little tea salon, serving the best matcha !!!
Café Comet; If you like drinking turmeric or beetroot latte, you've come to the right place. But also perfect for coffee lovers :)
Calienna; Plant Shop meets Café - perfect place for all plant-coffee-matcha lovers :)
Elias Coffee Shop; delicous vegan treats, also perfect for coffee to go :)
Aufzug Café; I recently discovered this cafe and I love it. it is super small but very special. You drink your coffee in an old elevator. They also serve drinks like turmeric latte and matcha.
I could go on like this forever haha , but I hope you have fun trying it out the cafés and drinking lot’s of good coffee.
